words and madness

these are things I wrote in my notebook for no particular reason

i don't consider myself a writer but instead a word scientist. I like to contemplate the meaning of words by juxtaposing them with other words, making experience explicit, readable and unknown- narrative-non-narrative

the only way to figure out how they work is by taking them apart, putting them under a microscope and taking note of the results. and the writing down of observations is the what it is to actually preserve the moments which would otherwise be fleeting allowing another to observe the world as you do...or don't

perhaps the smell of fried chicken on the subway is significant because I recall thinking about the smell of fried chicken while on the bus. This time the smell is accompanied by the smell of french fries and a hint of ketchup.

I think the bloody mary kicked in a while ago

the door opens and closes again

the train finally moves

i need to take a shower

for the first time
I ever saw you
fall down

It was funny
at first
but now I see
It can't hurt
I want to see
the ground
pulling pulling

something was lost
a long time ago
but now its still

It was here
and it was there
but now it can't be

settle this money
solve this door
another poor excuse

the stalagtites were hanging from
blank avocados
the shores were blue
conceived at a reasonable lover
they still complained

help yourself
be rude
don't worry about it
I went home
expecting more
don't look at me that way
I love you

go away
go there
come back
live here
excuses are for lovers
thank you,

singleface corrugated and loose fill

last night I realized I am completely bored with talking shit about hipsters.

some other signifigance was found on the parochial plain of festishistic desire
preists who actually crave ambigiuously gay, snobby phonies in tight jeans, fucked up
redos of hairstyles from the 70's and bad taste in music (most of the time)

maybe not, its getting strange in here

even for me

i'm out

I wanna end on a happy note...

special ingredient cookies...
and its not coconut!

napkin notes

I don't know why but I thinks napkin notes are the coolest thing...

any opportunity to scribble your latest technological advancement on a disposable peice of crap scrap paper...is just awesome to me...I let these things linger in the studio, home or office just for the pure sake of reveling in those past moments of inspiration...

currency is money is a time thing...

I finally updated Drugs, Chairs, and Mudflaps as I have been slacking on the whole artblogging thing...I think the next installment on Steve Currie's sculpture is the closest I have come to writing about art the way i really want to...because writing about art can be really hard and boring...boring to read boring to write...because art is, in essence a visual thing and words are...abstract...they exist but not physically...sometimes failing to describe the thing..the ideas that manifest in three-dimensional form...and thats why they are...

what they are

New Yorkers love these...

Do I have anything to blog about today?

Do I need something to blog about to blog?

Don't I usually blog about nothing anyways?

Is this spinach roll the right temperature?

Why is?

What for?

Something tells me I'm at the right place.

Thats right...i don't belong here.
